Data we process
CaptionPolish can process public video URLs, caption text, AI-polished caption text, local recent history, and RevenueCat purchase or entitlement data.
How data is used
Data is used for caption extraction, preview, export, AI polishing requested by the user, purchase validation, restore purchases, and support.
Local history
Version 1.0 keeps recent caption work locally on device. Account login and cloud sync are not required.
AI processing
When AI polish is requested, caption text may be sent through the app backend to DeepSeek or an equivalent AI provider. AI provider keys are not stored in the iOS app.
